Key Account Manager
The KAM is is responsible for effective, efficient and sustainably handling the most important client accounts procuring the Ipas Manual Vacuum Aspirator (MVA) Kit, Levoplant and other contraceptive products as well as actively lead our international public tender efforts in order to create new business opportunities and drive sales revenue, volume, and profit. The KAM must build and maintain a strong relationship with key customers and consolidators – which tend to make up the highest percentage of our organization sales revenue or volume – and act as the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client’s needs, work within the organization to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed in delivering the highest service to its end users – providers and beneficiary. The KAM will also bring in new business from existing clients or prospects and will develop new relationships and map out and aggressively pursue tender opportunities across the global south mostly. The KAM is expected to focus 40% of its time on key account management, 50% on public tenders and 10% supporting the Commercial Directors and other members of the Commercial team by performing regular and on-demand crucial tasks to establish an effective and efficient operation of this key function with the focus on achieving Departmental quantitative and qualitative goals, objectives and targets.
